HMRDO 'C-PET' Accreditation Program
The global COVID-19 pandemic has led to a dramatic loss of human life worldwide and overburdened the healthcare systems in many countries. Although most recover, some patients continue to experience persistent symptoms, a condition known as post-acute sequelae of COVID-19 (PASC) or Long-COVID, a viral-induced human metabolic reprogram/ dysregulation (HMR/D).
The Human Metabolic Research & Development Organization (HMRDO), led by Director-General Prof. Dr. A.S. Narain Naidu, PhD (Medicine), is a consortium of scientists and healthcare professionals dedicated to developing standardized evaluation protocols and evidence-based interventions for managing and resetting HMR/D. Our HMRDO Continuous Professional Education and Training (C-PET) Accreditation Program specifically emphasizes on the role of chiropractic care in the clinical management of viral-induced HMR/D.

Why Attend the HMRDO C-PET?
With approximately 500 million people globally suffering from PASC, there is a dire need for more effective treatment options. PASC patients can be categorized into four distinct clusters or sub-phenotypes based on the wide range of symptoms affecting various organs and systems:
-
Sub-phenotype 1 (33.8%): Characterized by cardiac and renal manifestations.
-
Sub-phenotype 2 (32.8%): Includes respiratory issues, sleep disturbances, and anxiety disorders.
-
Sub-phenotype 3 (23.4%): Marked by skeletal-muscular and nervous system disorders.
-
Sub-phenotype 4 (10.1%): Involves digestive and pulmonary dysfunctions.
Chiropractic care can play a significant role in the recovery process for PASC patients, particularly those in Sub-phenotypes 2 and 3. When integrated with system-targeted, evidence-based precision nutrition, chiropractic care has synergistic impact in resetting viral-induced HMR/D for a healthy recovery. The HMRDO C-PET will equip you with the knowledge and skills to effectively contribute to the treatment of PASC patients, improving their overall recovery outcomes.

Prof. Dr. Narain Naidu, Director-General, HMRDO, talks to Dr. Fabrizio Mancini, an internationally acclaimed educator & President Emeritus of Parker University in Texas, about a potential opportunity for chiropractic care to reset viral-induced HMR/D in PASC or Long-COVID. It is emphasized that the HMRDO-MERIT Certification Program is a forward-thinking initiative for chiropractors to proactively and effectively handle the complex challenges of Long-COVID and future viral-induced HMR/D episodes.
HMRDO Continuing Professional Education & Training (C-PET): The C-PET accreditation program for chiropractors, is taking place at the FCA National Summit (August 15-18) in Orlando, Florida. A potential learning opportunity to reset long-COVID recovery.
Viral-induced human metabolic reprogram/ dysregulation (HMR/D) in PASC or Long-COVID is a serious new metabolic syndrome affecting over 500 million people globally. Brain fog is a common neuro-cognitive disorder in these patients, marked by severe memory problems, reduced mental clarity, and trouble focusing. Synergistic potential of ‘Chiropractic Care’ along with ‘Precision Nutrition’ to reset viral-induced HMR/D is elucidated.
