Dr. Cindy M. Howard, DC, DABCI, DACBN, FICC, Dr. Cindy Howard is a highly respected chiropractic physician, functional medicine expert, educator, and author with over 25 years of experience in clinical practice and leadership.
She is the president and owner of Innovative Health & Wellness Center in Orland Park, Illinois, where she leads a multidisciplinary team focused on patient-centered, integrative healthcare. Dr. Howard is a Doctor of Chiropractic graduate from the National College of Chiropractic, holds dual board certifications as a Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Internists (DABCI) and the American Chiropractic Board of Nutrition (DACBN), and is a Fellow of the International College of Chiropractors (FICC).
Dr. Howard currently serves as Vice President of Clinical Excellence and Operations at Inguardia Health, where she plays a pivotal role in advancing clinical innovations. She is actively involved in the startup of an oral medical device company with over 80 patents pending, contributing her expertise in functional medicine and healthcare.
Dr. Howard is a sought-after thought leader, combining her expertise in nutrition, internal disorders, and functional medicine with her passion for education. She has delivered keynote presentations at numerous prestigious conferences, including the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) and the Florida Chiropractic Association. Dr. Howard's dedication to advancing healthcare extends to her service on medical advisory boards, including Functional Medicine University, Fullscript, and the Chiropractic Defense Council. She also serves as the Vice President of the American
Chiropractic Association's Council on Pharmacognosy and Toxicology, the Illinois Delegate for the American Chiropractic Association, and a member of the Illinois Chiropractic Society’s strategic planning committee.
