Prof. Dr. Chin-Kun Wang

Dr. Chin-Kun Wang is the President and a Distinguished Professor at the Chung Shan Medical University in Taiwan. He is the Chair of ‘Global Harmonization Initiative’ and visiting Professor at the School of Medicine at Seoul National University and the Tokyo Medical & Dental University in Japan. Dr. Wang is a council member for the International Academy of Food Science and Technology (IAFST), an elected fellow of both the International Union of Food Science & Technology (IUFoST) and the International Society for Nutraceuticals & Functional Foods (ISNFF). He also served as president of the ISNFF, the Nutrition Society of Taiwan and President-Designate of the ‘World Food Congress’, IUFoST 2026. As a member of the ‘Nutrition Advisory Board’, Dr. Wang has shaped the national nutrition law to protect human health and prevent diseases in Taiwan. In recognition his outstanding contributions to medical education, in 2008 Dr. Wang received the ‘National Award of Biomedicine in Taiwan’.
